The
Chateau
The Chateau: The entrance hall with its 30ft
ceiling, original mosaic floor and archways presents an eclectic
combination of Moroccan and Western architecture of the early
1800s. In the kitchen is a restaurant-style stove equipped
with gas and electric ovens, four ranges, grill top, frying
basket and refrigerator/freezer. The dining area has a large
Provencal stone chimney and is showered by natural light from
two large French glass doors leading into the front garden.
The spacious living room has a built-in wall unit that houses
the entertainment equipment including a television with satellite
reception, a stereo, VCR, art objects and books.
A staircase leads to the first floor with a Mezzanine area
featuring beautifully tiled floors and a brick archway overlooking
a seating area. There are three large bedrooms and two bathrooms
on this floor in addition to a large study/library with roman
pillars and wrought iron balcony overlooking the main entry
hall. The masterbedroom has an adjoining bathroom that displays
the curved stone walls of the Chateau. The Large but cozy
fourth bedroom with its adjoining bathroom is on the 2nd floor
and is truly a romantic hide-away with a spectacular view
of the countryside.
